You can easily calculate/measure the distance from any point to any other waypoint you define.
Follow the steps below:
Click on the "Measure Distance" button.
Click on the first arbitrary point on the map. A green pin marker will be placed on the selected point on the live map.
From this point on, you can click anywhere on the Live Map and define your waypoints. Click on the second arbitrary point on the map. On the live map, another green pin marker is placed on the selected point.
You will get the distance (in nautical miles) between the starting point and the next waypoint.
To stop measuring the distance, simply click the "Measure Distance" button again.
Note: At large distances, an oval is seen instead of a circle. The reason here is the Mercator projection. The Mercator projection used in cartography is a form of cylindrical projection named after the cartographer Gerhard Mercator, in which the projection is adequately distorted in the direction of the cylinder axis to achieve a true-angle image of the earth's surface.
