Basic vessel data, such as the general category "Cargo vessel" is taken directly from the AIS classification of the ship.
More detailed ship information is collected from several other sources and provided by FleetMon users and partners. All available information is added to the datasheet at the bottom of the vessel's detail page. Whenever you have further vessel information that you would like to share with the FleetMon community, you can add it to the vessel's datasheet directly on the website, using the button "Edit datasheet".
